House Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers today announced the Vice Chairs of the twelve Appropriations Subcommittees. These Members will serve as Chair of the subcommittee in the absence of the Chairperson, and assist them in official Committee duties.

• Commerce, Justice, Science Subcommittee: Rep. Jo Bonner (R-AL), Vice Chair
• Defense Subcommittee:Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-CA), Vice Chair
• Energy and Water Subcommittee:Rep. Steve Womack (R-AR), Vice Chair
• Congressman Steve Womack is the ONLY freshman member to be named a vice-chair of an appropriations subcommittee.
