Womack Condemns Politicized Judgement Against AR-3 Poultry Farmers

ARKANSAS — December 19, 2025… Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement regarding today’s judgement in the State of Oklahoma v. Tyson Foods, Inc. lawsuit. Congressman Womack said, “It is deeply disappointing to see the Oklahoma Attorney General seek political opportunity at the expense of hard-working Arkansas poultry farmers. Many of these growers have been operating in the Illinois River Watershed for generations, and this judgement will do irreparable harm to their livelihoods and families. Supporting these growers remains of the utmost importance to me.” Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011.
