Womack Supports Release of Epstein Files
Washington,
November 18, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C.—November 18, 2025… Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) issued the statement below regarding his support for the release of all documents and records relating to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. Congressman Womack said, “The federal government owes the American people transparency and accountability. The public has a right to know the identities of any individuals who were directly or indirectly involved in the despicable crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. Had I been in D.C. today, I would have voted in support of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, because the pursuit of justice should not be influenced by political ideology, wealth, or power; and perpetrators of crimes as serious as child exploitation must be exposed and held accountable." Due to a family member’s serious medical issue, Congressman Womack was unable to be in D.C. to vote in support of H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. His support for the legislation and intended YES vote has been entered into the Congressional Record. Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee. ### |
