Womack Congratulates Third District Finalists for National Science Bowl

Washington, D.C. — April 28, 2025… Congressmen Steve Womack (AR-3) today congratulated students of Fayetteville High School and Haas Hall Academy in Rogers for advancing to the finals of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science’s 2025 National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. These two teams earned their spots in the finals after months of participating in regional elimination tournaments.

Congressman Womack said, “I am extraordinarily proud of these students for their dedication and hard work in reaching the finals of such a prestigious competition. These brilliant young minds represent the future of our nation, and their achievements bring immense pride to the Third District. I extend my sincerest congratulations to these students and their teacher-coaches for a job exceptionally well done.”

The National Science Bowl is a renowned academic competition that focuses on mathematics and science. During the competitions, teams of middle and high school students engage in a rapid question-answer series involving multiple science and math disciplines. This year, 48 middle school and 67 high school teams from regional competitions earned the chance to compete in the national finals for various prizes and awards.
