Womack Votes for Biden Impeachment Inquiry Resolution

Washington, DC—December 13, 2023…Today, Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) voted to authorize specific impeachment procedures regarding the inquiry into President Biden and give the chamber the best possible legal standing to move forward in asserting Article I responsibilities.

Congressman Womack said, “Impeachment, which requires proof of high crimes and misdemeanors, is Congress’ most powerful tool. The impeachment resolution prompts designated House committees to continue sifting through the fog of evidence surrounding President Biden. Formally authorizing an impeachment inquiry empowers the next step in our fact-finding process to determine if there’s impeachable conduct and to provide transparency to the American people.”

Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
