The Dick Trammel Good Neighbor Award - the Rogers community's highest honor - was first awarded in 1974. The award is presented each year to individuals who have contributed to the betterment of Rogers and the region.

Congressman Womack said, “It’s the honor of a lifetime to have been a part of the vision that changed the skyline of Rogers and Northwest Arkansas. Before our eyes, the city we love has transformed from a bedroom community to one of destination character. A feat only made possible through the efforts of staff, local leaders, businesses, and stakeholders who knew the opportunity ahead. This award really goes out to them. I know the best is yet to come.”

“This award is presented to recognize those who contribute to the betterment of Rogers, and there is no one more deserving than Congressman Womack,” said Chamber President/CEO Raymond Burns. “His leadership dating back to his time as Mayor of Rogers up to today has been instrumental to the success of the region, making Rogers a vibrant destination in Northwest Arkansas. We owe much of the growth of our retail, healthcare facilities and office space to Congressman Womack in bringing the city to the table as a partner to create one of the best shopping locations in the country. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication.”

The honor was announced during the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Centennial Celebration in Arkansas. Though Congressman Womack was not able to attend in person due to legislative business, he shared his words of acceptance via video remarks that were played at the event.
