Washington, DC— October 1, 2021….Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the below statement after House Democrats held up legislative business for days, only to cave to radical priorities. Though they have full control of the House, Senate, and White House, they were just forced to institute another temporary extension of surface transportation funding: 

“After completely surrendering to the most extreme elements of their party, House Democrats have failed to meet their own deadline. The President who promised unity to our nation can’t even bring his own party together. They are governing by ‘extension’ on nearly every single fundamental duty. It’s time for the other side to realize they need to prioritize the American people, not the wants of radical progressives.”
