Womack Responds to Macron Address

Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the below statement following His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of France, addressing a joint session of Congress:
“President Macron today delivered a unifying message on the special relationship between the United States and France. Our countries have stood together since the American Revolution, fighting for our shared ideals of liberty, freedom, and democracy. Our friendship with France has proven lasting, and we must continue working together towards achieving our common objectives of eliminating terrorism worldwide, ending nuclear proliferation, and promoting transatlantic trade.”
Congressman Steve Womack has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011. He serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on the Budget and is a member of the House Appropriations defense, military construction-veterans affairs, and labor-health and human services subcommittees.
