Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after House passage of H.R. 5, the Regulatory Accountability Act of 2017, which includes the texts of six previously House-passed bills – the Regulatory Accountability Act (H.R. 185-114), the Separation of Powers Restoration Act (H.R. 4768-114), the Small Business Regulatory Flexibility Improvements Act (H.R. 527-114), the Require Evaluation before Implementing Executive Wishlists (REVIEW) Act (H.R. 3438-114), the All Economic Regulations are Transparent (ALERT) Act (H.R. 1759-114), and the Providing Accountability Through Transparency Act (H.R. 690-114): Congressman Steve Womack has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011 and serves on the House Appropriations Defense, Military Construction-Veterans Affairs, and Labor-Health and Human Services subcommittees and the House Committee on the Budget. |
