Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the “Path to Prosperity” fiscal year 2015 budget:

“It’s easy to support spending cuts in principle, and this budget puts our money where our mouth is and provides a real path forward – a Path to Prosperity – that addresses the true drivers of our deficits and debt, because we cannot keep spending money that we don’t have.  It’s irresponsible, and it’s unsustainable.” 

Congressman Steve Womack represents Arkansas’s Third Congressional District and serves on the House Appropriations Committee and the Defense, Financial Services and General Government, and Labor-Health and Human Services subcommittees.
