Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) and U.S. Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman today announced a Department of Transportation grant for Russellville Regional Airport.  The $156,622 grant, administered by the Federal Aviation Admission, will be used to seal coat and remark the airport runway.

“Airports are valuable contributors to local economies,” said Pryor. “This investment in transportation infrastructure will support economic development and ensure planes can travel safely in and out of Russellville Regional Airport.”

“Investing in infrastructure, like local airports, fosters economic development in the surrounding communities. These funds will help bring jobs and growth to Russellville,” said Boozman.

“Maintaining our nation’s transportation infrastructure is vital for economic growth, and these grants will ensure that Russellville Regional can continue to benefit our local economy for years to come,” said Womack.
