“I am honored to continue to serve on the House Appropriations Committee as a member of the Defense; Financial Services and General Government; and Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittees.  One of the most basic and most important roles of our government is to provide for the common defense of the nation.  As a 30-year veteran of the United States Army National Guard, I am especially excited to sit on the coveted Defense Subcommittee and to work on behalf of the people of the Third District and our men and women in uniform.”
