Congressman Steve Womack has announced that on Wednesday, December 7th, Reverend Roger Schoolcraft of Fayetteville will deliver the opening prayer on the floor of the United States House of Representatives.

Rev. Schoolcraft served as pastor of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fayetteville until he retired in 2008. Before Arkansas, he led congregations in Iowa and Nebraska.

Rev. Schoolcraft will deliver the opening prayer at 11:00 am CT which can be seen on C-SPAN or online at http://www.c-span.org/Live-Video/C-SPAN/.

Following the prayer, Congressman Womack will honor the reverend with a one minute speech on the House Floor.
