Congressman Steve Womack released the below statement after learning about the passing of 19 year old Garrett Uekman, a University of Arkansas football player. “My heart goes out to Garrett Uekman’s family, friends and Razorback teammates during this extremely difficult time. It’s never easy to lose someone you love, but it’s especially difficult when that person is taken at such a young age. Garrett’s reputation and character preceded him. The gracious words from his coaches and teammates point to an outstanding young man. You are all in my prayers.” ### |
