WASHINGTON—Congressman Steve Womack is excited to announce the 2011 Congressional Art Contest for high school students. The arts have long been the cornerstone of creation and innovation throughout our country’s history, and this competition continues that great tradition through student exploration.

Winner’s artwork will hang in the US Capitol along with other winners from across the country.

IMPORTANT DATES

        • Deadline to have entries to the Rogers office………………5:00 PM Tuesday, April 26

        • Art Judging ………………………………………………………….Thursday, April 28

        • Deadline date to deliver framed winner to Rogers office ……..Noon, Tuesday, May 10 
            (or as soon as the art is framed. The earlier, the better)

        • Shipping date of winning art ………………………..no later than, Wednesday, May 11

*Alternative option is to deliver art to the Fort Smith or Harrison offices by Monday, April 25, 2011 for the judging and we will transport to Lowell prior to April 28, 2011 for the judging.
