Womack Statement on Votes to Delay Obamacare Mandates

On July 2, 2013, the Obama administration announced it would delay enforcement of the Obamacare employer mandate until January 1, 2015.  Yesterday, the House voted on the Authority for a Mandate Delay Act (H.R. 2667) and the Fairness for American Families Act (H.R. 2668) to delay the Obamacare individual mandate, as well as the employer mandate, until January 1, 2015.  After passage, Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement:

“Obamacare has forced us to think small.  Even the administration recognizes this, but unfortunately left hardworking taxpayers and families out in the cold.

“I am proud to support giving individuals and businesses alike reprieve from Obamacare’s suffocating regulations while we continue our efforts to provide them permanent relief.”
