“The 188th Fighter Wing is arguably one of the most efficient and successful fighter wings in all of the Air Force,” Womack said. “We are honored to host Chairman Forbes and anxious to showcase the 188th for what it brings to our nation’s defense. I am confident he will be impressed by what we have to show and the overwhelming community support the Flying Razorbacks enjoy.”

“Chairman Forbes is a strong advocate for our servicemen and women and a key ally in our effort to maintain the mission of the 188th Fighter Wing.  He has heard our message of how the 188th excels in efficiency and cost effectiveness for A-10 units.  Now he will get to see that firsthand. We are grateful that Chairman Forbes has offered his time to hear the concerns of the region regarding the future of the 188th. We look forward to welcoming him to Arkansas,” Boozman said.

“I’m look forward to highlighting the 188th’s strengths and accomplishments, and the unit’s importance to our national security goals. We have a strong case to make, which is only strengthened by the Ft. Smith community’s overwhelming support of 188th Fighter Wing and their families,” said Pryor.
