WASHINGTON—Congressman Steve Womack released the following statement regarding President Obama’s decision...
Congressman Steve Womack released the following statement regarding President Obama’s decision on the Keystone XL Pipeline:
“I am disappointed—though not surprised by the President’s decision to delay the Keystone XL. It is clear that he is more interested in his re-election than the creation of thousands of jobs and policies that provide energy independence for America.”
“The Keystone XL had broad, bi-partisan support and was enthusiastically embraced by an overwhelming majority of my constituents.”
“Everywhere I go, people are asking ‘where are the jobs?’ This President isn’t interested in jobs until after his re-election. That is sad.”
